" I highly recommend working with Dorothy Putnam! I have been working with her for over two years now and prior to that, I avoided gyms and never had any desire to work out, lift weights, or incorporate regular exercise, other than walking, into my regime. My experience with her has been exceedingly positive. I look forward to working out with her 2x/wk & also enjoy gleaning information from her about physical health, nutrition, DoTerra essential oils, crafty art ideas & so much more! the results that I have obtained with her kettle bell class have exceeded my expectations. I am now, literally, in the best shape of my life & I attribute that to my work with Dorothy. She is professional, knowledgeable, insightful, thoughtful, a wonderful resource for holistic health and well being & she makes working out FUN!
"I met Dorothy Putnam over a year ago. It was after my third knee surgery and was released from my doctor's care. I decided to try personal training because I wanted to start working out the "proper" way in order to avoid re-injuring my knee. I was still having many issues with my knee and the recovery process was slow. Dorothy was very patient with me. I had tried "dance" workouts and was not able to walk the next day. I'm sure it was a challenge for Dorothy to plan my workouts around my injury but she did it. Over a year later, my knee is much stronger and I am able to do anything I want, thanks to Dorothy at Hilltop Wellness. She has been a great asset to my recovery. Now I am attending her kettle bell classes along with personal training and I love them both. I always feel great after a good workout with Dorothy."
Having been a competitive cyclist (former national champion), run dozens of marathons, and competed in 11 ironman events (including multiple trips to the world championships in Kona, HI) I was looking for something new to increase my strength and overall fitness levels. DD has done exactly that--working parts of my body that I would never get to on my own but that are essential to improving my swimming, biking and running. Plus, she is very professional and teaches proper form which has translated into no injuries whatsoever. It is a very fun hour as well (in a painful kind of way) with a variety of different workout tools. I look forward to my hour training with her each week and can't believe the difference it is having.
